4 boy

Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you.
~Dr. Seuss

I cannot believe my baby Ben is already 4 months the time flies - and as you can see....first of all, he is a great, happy little guy and second of all - he is big! It's a bit hard to tell the extent of his chipmunk cheeks with this full smile but trust me, they are huge! And they are so very pinchable and kissable! He is a complete treasure to have round the house and already I am wishing he would slow down growing up...

sheer glee - ahhh, to be a kid again!
Love this Heatheringtot moment...
Emma and Jack are having such fun here - pity Ben may not agree...lucky he's pretty easy going and used to being pulled about! I have no doubt he will grow to be bigger than them both - then he'll show them who's boss!

The Robinsons in Full Force!

Family faces are magic mirrors. Looking at people who belong to us, we see the past, present, and future. ~Gail Lumet Buckley

What an honour to be able to photograph my family this cousins and their families. And what fine models they make - sure we had to make loads of silly faces, noises and actions, but it was well worth it and a good laugh for all those involved!
Here is the beautiful Hannah - with a strong will to match those strong, gorgeous eyes...
and the sweet Mya who is always a pleasure to be around...
My gorgeous and amazing cousin Brady with her gang...
Madeline with another set of awesone eyes!
I cannot get enough of this photo - apparently Emily prefers it in the nude! But check out that priceless expressions - what a cutie!
Ethan, Sydney and Ben who needed no coaxing to pose and have some fun!
My cousin Lyndsay who is serioulsy the fittest girl I know with her clan...
And finally the entire Robinson offspring. I love the sense of love and closeness these cousins all have with one another. It's hard to beat your family when it comes to love and friendship!

Our summer so far...

Then followed that beautiful season... Summer....
Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape
Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood.
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

What a wonderful summer I have been having - made even sweeter as I am still on maternity leave and don't have to have those last August days of dread before I go back to work. Now I can enjoy these last few days and help my big girl get ready for her first day of primary school - uniform, lunchbox, backpack, flashing shoes all bought - need to iron name tags on and we're pretty much good to go! I still cannot believe Emma will be starting proper school - I remember her baby days so well...but she is ready for it! We all had a fantastic time in Canada ~ other than it being far too short :( Here is a glimps of our time in Cookstown...
lounging in the sun, blue skies and green fields all around us...
quality time spent with Nana and Papa
Daddy time...
baby cuddles (Ben is 4 months already - really, where has the time gone?)
and of course no farm life holiday is complete without a ride on Papa's old tractor!
Oh and, I had to add this one too - our own "jack the lad" with the au pair babes, Sophie and Nicole - Jack has a way with the ladies already - his dad is proud!

Lil and her lil' girlies!

Laughter is an instant vacation. ~Milton Berle

Well then I sure had a vacation with the Prokupeks! Here are three of my most favourite photogenic girls! It is always guaranteed a bit of fun and a laugh when I spend time with Lil, Autumn and Georgia. Lil, it was so great to spend time with you this summer and capture your fabulous girls. I only wish we could do it more often...but until next summer....
Autumn - last year she was my most commented photograph by far - everyone loves "the girl with the curls"
Cutie-pie Georgia - such a sweetheart
The three muskateers!
I think this one was when I was trying to hum Lady Gaga (ahh, the things the photographer does to entertain young and old alike!)
Best buds for life...

How cute are these two?

Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world. ~Ada Louise Huxtable

These have seriously got to be two of the cutest kids ever - I could just eat them up! It was so great to meet up with my old Sparrow Lake Camp and kitchen staff buddy Jenn and capture her two adorable children! Just another day of adventures in the farm lands and wheat fields! Thanks Jenn for coming to Cookstown and bringing those two little munchkins of yours!
Tai - what a character, full of spirit and fun!
And Addison I could take home with me she is so darn cute!
ahhhh, Canadian summers - how I love thee...
Lovin' the maple keys!
Sibling cuddles
See - I told ya, SERIOUSLY cute! I can't wait to go through this whole session of photos - but wanted to share a few first. Jenn, I will be in touch when the rest are ready and on my web.
