'Tis the Season... be jolly, to be mischievious, to be full of wonder, to be thankful!

Our little Jack is the "to be mischievious!" Always looking for trouble...he decided he wanted to sample my box of chocolates and pushed the chair over to help himself...
"Who ME???"
Caught chocolate mouthed and cheeky grinned! Gotta love boys!
Emma on the other hand..."is it christmas yet?"
Enjoying a gorgeous day at the river feeding the ducks - chilly though!!!

One of the things I love most about Belfast - absolutely picturesque outdoors on our doorstep!

Three angles for Christmas...

What a wonderful and beautiful family the McCrorys are! So relaxed, fun and did I mention BEAUTIFUL??? Just look at these three girls - hard to take a bad photo of either of them - just stunning (Mark you watch out when these three get older - I've already got Jack lined up for a date!!!)
How adorable is the littlest angel Aisling???
And Emily the middle angel...
It seems like just yesterday that Naoise was a babe - but what a stuning angel she is growing up to be...
Little baby toes - I just love them!
If I have freedom in my love,
And in my soul am free,
Angels alone that soar above,
Enjoy such liberty.
~Richard Lovelace

The whole gang...
Thank you to the McCrory family. Good luck Nuala and Mark on your next adventure to Oz!!! Look forward to seeing you all when you return.

The Burke Family

It was with great pleasure to have the Burke family in my studio this past weekend...The children were full of energy and character...and laughs and tickles and fun.
Love this shot of Aimee - she was such a natural! Gorgeous!
Typical little boy Ben was as cute and trendy as ever...
And Cienna was just beautiful and how much do I love babies playing with their little toes...
The whole gang...
Thank you Michelle and David for sharing your family with me! The rest of your photos will be ready for you shortly...

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...

If you seek a special gift
The greatest gift of all
Don’t look beneath your tree
It was never there at all
The greatest Christmas gift
Was given to us all
The Christ child in a manger
In a lowly cattle stall

Christmas has officially started in the Heatherington household. We decorated the tree (well Emma and I did, Jack mostly threw the decorations all over the place). We have the Advent Train for the elves to hide treaties in each night. We have the Christmas costumes and today braved the annual Christmas photo session for our Christmas cards...always eventful!

Emma sporting her "I'm too cool for this" teenager face.
Trimming the tree...
Everyone say "Santa"!
"HOORAY" - a keeper!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Anderson Family Fun!

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck

2 down-to-earth parents +
3 active and adorable children +
lots of squishy creatures =
a fun filled session in the studio!
It was wonderful to meet Sarah and her fabulous family - great little bundles of energy full of giggles and personality!!! Now please tell me where to get those squishy, stretchy creatures - if they could provide that much entertainment for your three - I WANT THEM!!!

Thank you to the Anderson Family...your photos to follow soon!

My boy...

I finally got around to getting Jack's hair cut - it aged him so much! My baby is now a toddler...into everything...and absolutely gorgeous! Even with the tree branch scratch under his eye (but before this week's massive egg bump and bruise on his forehead.) At his nursery they call him Action Man - well named!
This smile from him does it for me every time!
Why do I need anything for Christmas?
