I hadn't seen Teresa in ages.  We were great friends in University, shared many a good time together and stayed in contact ever since.  She visited me in Ireland and we have met up now and again when I return home in the summers, but the past few years have been busy and for one reason or another we had not seen each other.  Well, I'm so glad we made up for it this summer - we saw each other a good bit and it was so wonderful.  Teresa is just so natural.  So easy to be around, chatty, happy and damn her, she looks amazing!  Now she has an adorable little boy, Connor, who is the light of her and Greg's life.  He is one little sweetheart and I loved getting to spend time with the whole Stratsmaa family.  Until next summer...

Shelley and Andrew were so chilled out and made everyone feel so relaxed and happy. A fabulous location and we even squeezed in some beach shots despite the threatening rain. These two were game and I have no doubt I missed a lot of fun as the evening progressed! Mr and Mrs Jess, I wish you a lifetime of happiness and thank you again for giving me the privilege of documenting your day. Have a FAB honeymoon!

A cousin is a best friend for life

It really is special for me to have the opportunity to photograph family and friends and their children. Brady is one of my dearest friends and another of my closest cousins. We really have been through a lot together - and although we bonded throughout our lives, we were inseperable in high school (Mr. Feeney -"Hi Brady/Zoe" or "Hi Zoe/Brady" - obvioulsy didn't know us apart). We had so many fun memories from then - our buffet lunches in ent studies, sneaking out to visit other schools, A-Club (picture arm in air wave), pooling together our spice jars of parents' bizarre liquors, 2 accidents in one day, cottage fun and synchronized swim/jump competitions, and many, many more. Now we have children to expand our memories and I always look forward to my annual visits to the Boyle house - Brady you are such a sweet and wonderful person and I really am so lucky to have you in my life.

We Are Family!

Heidi, forever my cous and a half - we may be cousins but also the best of friends. We have gone though so much together - as children doing our Christmas Eve gift exchanges, years of Sparrow Lake Camp memories, high school antics, University meet ups (I'll pack the pleather), good times in Australia (even if there weren't enough stars...), "studying" together at U of T and many many more. Now we have the joy of creating new memories in the summers on our much needed and anticipated girlie get togethers and with our families. I love watching my children bonding with the children of the people closest to me. Heid, you are one of a kind and I am so lucky to have you as one of my much loved cousins and closest friends. Love you!

 They say home is where the heart is, and I certainly agree. I huge part of my heart will always reside in Canada. One month of family, friends, fun, sun, beaches, parties, "rockets", pool parties, sun cream/glasses/dresses, reminiscing, laughing, teaching my kids all that is Canadian (eh?)and generally enjoying being home. Thanks for the memories...
