A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.
~Isadora James
Two of the sweetest little girls I know! This photoshoot was such a pleasure to do - with both girls being so fun and happy in the studio. And clearly in adoration of each other, which is always lovely to see. Not having a sister myself, I always enjoy seeing "snapshots" of the sister relationship. Have a look for yourself...
I LOVE this one of Lola - her expression is priceless and her bum so chubby and adorable!
Ok, so the tutu gets A LOT of wear - but it's so gorgeous and what little girl can resist it? Eva sure couldn't - and you can see why...She looks like "Angelina Ballerina"!
Lola drowning in tutu
sister cuddles - girlfriends for life
and now...tutus for two!
Thanks Gillian and Grant - your girls are just gorgeous!

A Kiwi Experience!
How fantastic was it to have the Lenaghan family visiting from New Zealand!?! We had a few great bbq's together and managed to squeeze in a photo session too...those kids are well travelled! They definately brought the good weather with them (and took it back too! haha) Ray, Jane, Shea and Kareena are all back on home turf now and I hope settling into "normal" life again after their whirlwind trip (I know ALL about those!) Look forward to seeing you all again soon - it's always too short.
Something about this expression I just adore
What a sweetheart
Family fun
Princess Kareena
Shea was a natural on the tractor
And a gorgeous setting too!
Thanks again - the rest of the photos will be on my web shortly! Hope jet lag not too bad!

Gorgeous Ava...
A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bankroll smaller, home happier, clothes shabbier, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for. ~ Anonymous
Ava and her mum and dad were in the studio and this was one little girl who was certainly not shy to the camera - in fact she was amazed by it and it was easy to get her looking straight into it. As always - nudey babies are hard to beat!
Very pinchable cheeks - both sets!
Ava mesmerized by the camera
CUTE!!
She's got them wrapped right around her little finger!
Thanks Stephen, Trish and of course the adorable Ava - the rest of your photos will be on my web shortly (as soon as my life quietens down a bit - what with chicken pox, hernia operations and school ending...) ;)

Double Trouble - double CUTENESS!
It's double the giggles and double the grins, and double the trouble if you're blessed with twins. ~Author Unknown
And I would say this mummy and daddy know all about the double giggles and double trouble with these two absolutely adorable boys! Conor and Rory made sure I was getting my daily workout with all of their activity during this photo session. What fun they must have together. I always thought it would be so lovely to have twins...but I do appreciate it is a lot of work too. What a wonderful relationship twins must have with one another - and a joy to watch it develop as they grow...
Rory's giggles....
Conor's wiggles...
The happy - and busy - family
These two brothers do not seem to stop!
As I said - absolutely adorable!
Thank you Jenny and Paul for the opportunity to capture you and your sweet boys! The rest to follow shortly on my web.

Introducing Mr Jack Pox...
My poor boy Jack has the chicken pox and at the WORST time possible - Ben was scheduled to have his hernia operation this Thursday, but because of the high possibility he may too get the pox, it has been cancelled. We now have to wait for another cancellation no sooner than 14 days - cutting fine to our trip to Canada...(let it all work out, let it all work out...) I think Jack has enjoyed the excitement of finally having the chicken pox - and the extra attention - but the itch is sore and the nights are long for us all. A day in the life of a child...
Get better soon my son ;)

Lovin' this Belfast Weather!
In Belfast we have been so lucky to have had several weeks of gorgeous weather and the last couple of days have been incredible! The children and I have been trying to make the most of it by spending as much time as we can in the great outdoors...
climbing trees...
looking up at the leaves...
smelling all of the wonderful summer smells...
and no summer is complete without a few ice creams to devour!
Keep it up Belfast!!!

Annabel and a gorgeous Belfast garden...
When I looked up the meaning of the name Annabel (I'm always interested in name meanings...) I found it meant "easy to love" - well, let me tell you - look at this little sweetheart and you will know she was given a very appropriate name. Annabel certainly is easy to love - she was full of character and spark and I thoroughly enjoyed this session and meeting her and her wonderful family!
16 months and between bum shuffling, crawling and walking! There were very few "still" moments here.
Doting mummy and daddy
What a cutie
...and of course she also likes climbing...
Yup - Annabel sure is easy to love
Thank you Andrea and James for giving me the opportunity to capture your lovely family - the rest of the gallery will follow shortly.

Conor, Cliodhna and their clan...
It is such a pleasure to have good friends in the studio - and a great way to ease back into photo sessions after Ben's birth. Thank you Conor and Cliodhna for all of your enthusiasm and energy (Conor was the master of juggling, blowing bubbles and peek-a-boo!)
The gorgeous McAreaveys!
This session was primarily for Lily as she recently turned one - isn't she just a little doll?
And Isabella is a natural at this photo thing - she was here last year when she turned one. SOOO full of personality - what a cutie!
I LOVE this one - Conor and his baby girl
Ahhh the smiles we were hoping for from Lily despite her being a bit unwell. And of course Cliodhna as glam as ever...
Families are like fudge... mostly sweet with a few nuts.
