Mr and Mrs Dumigan

Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking together in the same direction. ~Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Two of the lovliest people ever. So beautiful, laid back and in love with each other. That is what I saw with Jacqueline and Mark. It was an honour to be able to take their photos, keep alive their day and be witness to their love. It did help that the venue was idyllic and the weather stayed on our side. I wish them all the best in their future together and hope to meet them someday when they ask me to photograph their little Dumigans!

Daffodils and bubbles

Five little daffodils were wearing golden crowns,
They danced in the breeze in green satin gowns.
It's hard to beat Springtime in Belfast. I love the longer days, the brighter skies and the abundance of beautiful daffodils. There is a section at our local park that I love taking photos in at this time of year. The daffodils make for an amazing backdrop - team that with a bubble machine, two doting parents and one adorably gorgeous toddler and you have some magical photos...here are just a few...

Jack's the big 4!

You don't raise heroes, you raise sons. And if you treat them like sons, they'll turn out to be heroes, even if it's just in your own eyes. ~Walter M. Schirra, Sr.
I know, I've used this quote before - likely on Jack's 3rd birthday, but I thought it was fitting seeing as I have my own little superhero in the house. Jack has a wardrobe full of cloths, but that superman costume was the best £15.00 ever spent as he wears it almost daily. And Jack really is my little hero - the funny man of the house but deep down a little sensitive soul. It is impossible to get a nice photo of him these days as either he makes silly faces or runs away, but still, I persevere!

Grant Girls...

More than Santa Claus, your sister knows when you've been bad and good. - Linda Sunshine
The Gorgeous Grant girls, which I have known for ages are back with giggles, a few tears and a lot of love! These three girls adore each other - they look out for one another and seem to really enjoy each others company. Friends for life. How lucky for each of them.

Sweetness comes in small packages...

"We find delight in the beauty and happiness of children that makes the heart too big for the body." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Two adorable brothers...

Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. ~Marc Brown
And how true is this quote in our house right now with the Superhero obsession going on with my kids - well, mostly Jack, but he's dragging everyone else with him! But onto two other boys...
The Cheung brother are two of the most adorable little boys ever. I could just eat them up and they reminded me so much of my boys - the older, more petite, sensitive yet playful one and the younger big bruiser of the family. I loved how they interacted with one another and the bond that is building into what will inevitably be a close and long lasting realtionship of brotherly love. It was so wonderful to meet these two sparks and their fab parents.
Absolute perfection in cuteness!

Quirky Weddings

I have been featured on this week's Quirky Weddings newsletter. How exciting. And this is what they had to say...

Zoe Heatherington Photography

Vibrant Photography

Couples! Choose a wedding photographer you connect with personally. I'm always saying it, but it's true. They're right there with you all day so you need someone who makes you feel confident and puts you at ease. When I think of my first meeting with Zoe, it was her personal energy that stood out. She is engaging, vibrant and fun. I can imagine my guests enjoying her photographing them. Couples she's worked with always comment on how accurately she caught the feeling of the event. Find out for yourself...
