A Taste of Kerry

"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you
In the palm of his hand."

~Irish Blessing

A glorious and adventure packed weekend we just had in Kerry. What an absolutely magical and magnificent part of the world. We enjoyed farm life, beach life, body surfing, boating with a resident dolphin, shopping, eating wonderful food, drinking delicious beer and wine, climbing through caves, driving through mountains, looking over cliffs and generally having the craic! Well worth the 5 hour drive!

A traditional thatched Irish farmhouse with fresh soda bread baking on the open fire. The kids loved learning that this is how their grandfather grew up.

AND THE WAVES! My new love - surfing! Can't wait to do it again - what a rush! And the kids enjoyed it too! Thanks Nicole for this fab shot-you're a star!

This trip had the Irish eyes smiling, and the Canadian and Swedish ones too!
